28/10/2021 (Agence Europe) – Iranian negotiator Ali Bagheri announced, on Wednesday 27 October, that negotiations on the Iranian nuclear programme would resume before the end of November. “We had a very serious and constructive dialogue with Enrique Mora (the EU negotiator, Editor’s Note) on the essential elements for successful negotiations. We agreed to start negotiations before the end of November”, he explained on his Twitter account, after a meeting with Mr Mora, the second within a few days. Mr Bagheri added that the exact date of the talks would be announced later next week. Talks have been suspended since June 2021 and the Iranian presidential election. In addition, according to a German source, a meeting on the negotiations is planned on the sidelines of the G20 summit this weekend in Rome. (CG)
