Parliament condemns eviction of Al-Kurd family

Strasbourg, 21/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - In a resolution adopted on Thursday 20 November, the European Parliament said it was extremely concerned by the eviction of the Al-Kurd family and the recent destruction in a number of districts in East Jerusalem of houses of Palestinian families. In the night of 9 November 2008, members of the Israeli police and armed forces forcibly removed the Al-Kurd family from the home they had lived in for 50 years, with Israeli settlers immediately authorised...
