Indignation at barbaric execution of young Somali girl

Strasbourg, 21/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 20 November, the European Parliament adopted a resolution strongly condemning the execution of a young Somali girl Aisha Ibrahim Duhulow in Somalia on 27 October. The 13 year old was condemned to death for committing adultery in breach of Islamic law, when she had, in fact, been the victim of rape by three men.
