Parliament postpones vote on energy and climate package until 17 December 2008, after the European Summit

Brussels, 21/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Thursday 20 November 2008, the European Parliament Conference of Presidents decided to postpone the vote on the EU's energy and climate package until the 15-18 December 2008 plenary in Strasbourg. Initially scheduled for the 3-4 December sitting in Brussels in order to take place before the European Council of 11-12 December, the vote will now take place on 17 December in order to give the European Parliament more time to examine...
