Brussels, 12/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - Three years after negotiations started, the justice ministers of the EU have reached an agreement on a draft directive on civil and commercial mediation, which will help to resolve disputes other than by recourse to a court of law, the Portuguese presidency of the EU announced on 9 November. “In future, it will be possible to resolve disputes more quickly and easily”, announced Portuguese Justice Minister Alberto Costa at a press conference.
