Signing of third 400 million loan for water purification and protection in Wallonia

Luxembourg, 12/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has provided the Société publique de gestion de l'Eau (SPGE) with a long term loan of €400 million to carry out work on waste water purification, the protection of water catchment and priority drainage in Wallonia, Belgium. This is the third loan granted by the bank to the SPGE.

The region of Wallonia has been aware of the need to conserve one of its natural assets and set up the SPGE in 1999 in this connection...
