Commission defends its biofuels policy despite increased international reservations

Brussels, 12/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - After the postponed adoption of the energy and climate change package (or “Green” package decided last October, EUROPE 9529), the Commission is expected to present its legislative proposals on 23 January for the implementation of binding objectives up to 2020 for renewable energies and biofuels - 20% and 10% respectively.
