Brussels, 12/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - The international troika on Kosovo, comprising mediators from the European Union, the United States and Russia, will unveil tangible proposals on 20 November 2007 for the future status of Kosovo, an independent province of Serbia, announced a spokesperson for EU High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana, on Monday. The troika will then take on a more proactive role, following its mediation between Serbs and Kosovars, added the spokesperson. The proposals will be made public during the upcoming meeting between Serb and Kosovan leaders in Brussels on 20 November, at which date the outcome of the Kosovan general elections on 17 November should be known.
