Barroso and Michel could travel to Sudan in next few days

Brussels, 29/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - In the light of the worsening of the humanitarian crisis and insecurity in Darfur (Sudan), the European Commission President José Manuel Barroso and Development and Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Louis Michel have announced that they would soon travel to Khartoum to meet President Bashir (see EUROPE 9275 and 9267).
