Brussels, 29/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU reacted strongly to the ecological and health disaster caused by the illegal export of European toxic waste to the Côte d'Ivoire (EUROPE 9275). In a press release published on 28th September, it states that it is "of utmost importance that the Union should get to the bottom of the Probo Koala incident, and take the necessary steps to pre-empt incidents of a similar nature".
