Brussels, 29/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Réalités européennes du Présent, presided by Hartmut Marhod, is holding its colloquium The European Union between uncertainty and initiative in Brussels on 20-21 October. To be opened by the Honorary President of Réalités, Jean-Pierre Gouzy, the colloquium will explore the fate of the Constitutional Treaty (with Antonia Carparelli, Commissioner Margot Wallström's deputy head of cabinet), enlargement (with Alain Servantie, Commission adviser), the EU as a world player (with the Director General of External Relations at the Commission Eneko Landaburu), globalisation (with former MEP Jacques Moreau), the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome (with Bruno Boissière, Paul Collowald, Christian Franck, Andrea Pierucci, Luc Rifflet and Jean-Pierre Gouzy).
