21/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - MEP Wolfgang Kreissl-Dörfler (SPD), a member of the European Parliament's temporary committee on CIA kidnapping and secret prisons, told The Financial Times Deutschland on 21 September that José Manuel Barroso should explain to MEPs whether, at the time when he was still prime minister of Portugal, he was aware of the illegal transport of terrorist suspects by the CIA over Portuguese territory. According to Eurocontrol, presumed terrorists were transported by the CIA to Kabul and Baghdad by flying over the Azores, the MEP said.
