21/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU) is organising its 23rd annual conference on competition policy in Brussels on 20 October. Work will be opened by Gabriel McGann from Coco-Cola, with a speech by Bruno Lasserre, President of the French Competition Authority. It will cover: - Review of Article 82 with Lucas Peeperkorn (Commission) and Robert O'Donoghue (Cleary Gottlieb); - reform of State aid with Jean-Louis Colson (Commission) and Michael Schütte (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer); - competition rules withstanding government intervention, with Olivier Guersent (Deputy Head of Cabinet for Commissioner Neelie Kroes), Carel Maske (Microsoft) and Lisa Rabbe (Goldman Sachs International); - strengthening Europe's compliance culture through more effective enforcement with Ewoud Sakkers (Commission), Bill Prasifka (President of the Irish Competition Authority) and Kenneth L.
