Public consultations confirm that single market plays crucial role in meeting Europe's current challenges but can be improved

Brussels, 21/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Single Market plays a crucial role in meeting Europe's current challenges, but also that it can be improved and needs a clear vision for citizens. This is according to responses to a European Commission consultation on future Single Market policy, launched last April 2006 which provided an overview of the 1,514 submissions.
