Brussels, 21/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The 2006 Biennial Conference of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) entitled Living Europe: a challenge for civil society” on 18 and 19 September marked the end of Anne-Marie Sigmund's term of office as EESC President. She is to be succeeded this October by Dimitrios Dimitriadis, First Prime Minister of the Greek National Trade Confederation.
