Strasbourg, 26/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution on 25 January drafted by Goran Lindblad (EPP-ED, Sweden) condemning the crimes and massive violations of human rights by totalitarian Communist regimes and paying tribute to the vast numbers of victims of these crimes in the countries of the former USSR (see Europe 9117 on concerns expressed on this issue by the United European Left/Nordic Green Left at the European Parliament).
