99% of available funding paid out to Member States in 2005 explains Danuta Hubner - Electrolux relocation does not involve EU aid

Brussels, 26/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - EU Regional Policy Commissioner Danuta Hubner explained on 26 January that the results for 2005 in terms of the use of EU funding for the Cohesion Policy are excellent. She explained that the relocation of an Electrolux factory from Germany to Poland and Italy did not involve EU funding. At a press conference, Hubner said 2005 was an excellent year for regional policy, equalising the 2004 record of making use of 99% of available funding (see Europe...
