Commission wants to strengthen police cooperation with United States

Brussels, 26/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - In Brussels on Wednesday, European Commissioner Franco Frattini met the Director of the FBI Robert Mueller for talks on a series of points to strengthen police cooperation between the United States and the European Commission. During their discussions, Mr Frattini and Mr Mueller agreed on the need to increase operational cooperation between Europol and American law enforcement authorities.
