Brussels, 06/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a direct and determined manner on Thursday, Commissioner Neelie Kroes outlined the objectives and planned reform of state aid rules to the European Parliament's Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee. She welcomed interest in her State Aid Action Plan, with more than 100 stakeholders sending in detailed comments, mostly in support of the aim to cut and better target state aid and make it more effective and transparent.
