In letter to Jan Peter Balkenende, Unice President Jürgen Strube appeals for more growth, jobs and competitiveness

Brussels, 27/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - As per his line of action to breathe new life into the Lisbon Strategy, "which is currently in a pitiful state", the President of the European employers' group (UNICE), Jürgen Strube, wrote to the President of the European Council and Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende on 26 October, to put forward a few suggestions for the Brussels summit of 4 and 5 November.
