European Commission prepares proposed directive on intermodal safety

Le Bourget, 27/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is preparing a proposed directive on intermodal safety, which it plans to present during 2005. This was the announcement made on Wednesday by Christian Dupont, the main administrator within the Safety unit of DG Transport and Energy of the European Commission, at the 19th Euronaval exhibition, the international exhibition of naval material, which was held from 25 to 29 October in the Paris-Le Bourget Parc des Expositions.
