Luxembourg, 11/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Council of the EU decided on Monday to lift the "restrictive measures" of 1992 and 1993 against Libya and the embargo on exports of weapons to the country. Sales of arms will, however, be subject to provisions of the EU Code of Conduct on Arms Exports.
