Strasbourg, 15/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - During the debate on "the hostage-taking and massacre in Beslan and the fight against terrorism" on Wednesday at the European Parliament, the President of the European Council of the EU Bernard Bot took great pains to explain what the European Union has done since September 11 2001 to combat the problem, and mentioned the Chechen question at the end of his speech, reiterating his " total condemnation" of the terrorist act.
