Brussels, 15/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The EU embargo on imports of poultry meat and pet birds from several Asian countries affected by avian influenza has been extended until 31 March 2005, it was announced on Wednesday by the European Commission after a meeting of the Standing Committee for the Food Chain and Animal Health.
