15/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Jan Pieter Balkenende, will be receiving his Luxembourg opposite number, Jean-Claude Juncker, on Friday 17 September. The meeting will take place within the context of the Dutch EU Presidency. Points on the agenda are, in particular, EU enlargement, the Lisbon process and the new financial perspectives. We recall that, from 1 January 2005, Luxembourg will take over from the Netherlands in holding EU Presidency.
