Strasbourg, 15/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - Environment Commissioner Margot Wallstrom (who will be Vice-President of the Commission with responsibility for communications in the Barroso Commission) was in the hot seat at the European Parliament on Tuesday evening, where she defended the European Commission's record in three highly topical areas tooth and mail, highlighting the responsibilities of Member States.
