Court of Auditors to publish report on Tuesday on recovery of farm fraud

Brussels, 15/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Auditors on Tuesday 21 September will publish a long-awaited special report (No. 3/2004) on EU procedures for recovering farm aid fraud from EU Member States. In a press release issued on Wednesday, the Court of Auditors explains that since 1971, more than EUR 3 billion in irregular farm aid payments under the Common Agricultural Policy has been identified by the Member States and notified to the Commission.
