EU Presidency declaration after disturbances in Palestinian Territories

Brussels, 23/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - In reaction to the disturbances in the Palestinian Territories, the Dutch EU Presidency issued the following declaration on behalf of the EU on 20 July:

"The Presidency of the European Union expresses its serious concern about the latest developments in the Palestinian Territories. The Presidency calls upon the Palestinian leaders to restore calm in the Palestinian Territories. It reaffirms the European Union's readiness to support the Palestinian...
