23/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 9 July, the European Central Bank (ECB) adopted a decision authorising Italy to increase the volume of its euro coin production in 2004. Demand for euro coins has been greater than the forecast by the Italian Minister for the Economy, who will circulate an additional volume of coins of a value of 200 million EUR.
