Javier Solana defends EU against Israeli criticism

Brussels, 23/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - EU High Representative for CFSP Javier Solana had to face virulent criticism on Thursday from the Israeli Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ariel Sharon and Sylvan Shalom, on the matter of EU support to the Palestinian resolution adopted on Tuesday by the United Nations General Assembly (EUROPE of 23 July, p.9).
