EU mission to include eight international experts to help Georgia's reform of criminal legal system

Brussels, 16/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - Next week, the French judge Sylvie Pantz will take up her duties at the head of the EU's mission to Georgia, in which eight international experts, who have not yet been named, will take part. The French magistrate will be in charge of the organisation of this first "rule of law" mission (EUJUST THEMIS) as part of the ESDP, to support and accompany the reform of the criminal legal system in Georgia.
