ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) gaming

The American casino group HARRAH'S has bought its competitor CAESAR'S (28 casinos, including the famous Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas) for 9.44 billion dollars, including 4.2 billion in debts. The merger of the two establishments will create the world's largest gaming group with 56 casinos, an annual turnover of 8.8 billion dollars and some 96,000 employees.
