Monday's debate to be on future of asylum and immigration policies - three Commission communications

Brussels, 16.07.2004 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the European Commission is to present to the Justice and Home Affairs Council three communications intended to fuel the debate on the future of asylum and immigration policies (yesterday's EUROPE, p.13). In its document preparing the discussion, the Dutch EU Presidency recalls that the constitutional treaty fixes the adoption of common asylum and immigration policies as goals, going beyond the minimum common norms approved in recent years....
