The Danish group CARLSBERG is to acquire stakes in four Chinese breweries for a total of 115 million Danish crowns. It will acquire 50% of LANZHOU HUANGHE BREWERY, a subsidiary of LANZHOU HUANGHE ENTERPRISE, and three breweries in Gansu province. The three entities have an annual capacity in the region of 2.5 million hectolitres and a market share of 36%. It will also buy 40% of a new brewery being built in Qinghai.
