Council criticises political situation in Serbia and requestS "general concept" for SFOR handover in Bosnia-Herzegovina to EU

Brussels, 24/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The External Relations Council of 23 February adopted conclusions on the Balkans in which it expressed its worry about political developments in Serbia following parliamentary elections on 28 December. The Council points our that political and economic reforms and cooperation with the International Criminal Court for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the fight against organised crime are indispensable for moving towards European integration.
