24/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - Commissioner Philippe Busquin was in Dakar, Senegal from 22 to 24 February, to take part in the launch of the operation phase of the EDCTP programme of clinical trials on molecules in the fight against Aids, malaria and tuberculosis, which has an envelope of 600 million EUR, one-third of which comes from the EU's budget.
