Brussels, 09/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Russian oil tanker Geroi Sevastopolya left the port of Ventspils in Latvia on Saturday, heading for Singapore with 50,000 tonnes of oil. The three inspectors from the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), who went to Latvia on Friday morning to inspect the boat (see EUROPE of 5 December) apparently found no anomalies.
