Brussels, 27/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of the IGC Ministerial which starts on Thursday in Naples, the Italian Minister of the Economy Giulio Tremonti again sought to defend greater Ecofin Council powers and pointed out in an interview in the daily Corriere della Sera that a "large majority" had been obtained at the informal Council in Stresa.
