27/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 26 November the French National Assembly authorised the ratification of the accession treaty for the ten countries that are joining the European Union. The draft law was adopted by a crushing majority of 505 votes for, three against and 19 abstentions. It will be examined in the Senate on 10 December.
