Forum to prepare Social Democrats' response to challenges of globalisation get underway

Brussels, 27/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - A "Global Progressive Forum", be the first step towards the creation of a world network of social-democratic forces calling for global reforms for a safer and better-governed world, was kicked off in Brussels on Thursday by its chairman, Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, former Danish Prime Minister and rapporteur for the European Socialists on "Europe and a new world order".
