EIB loans for Mulhouse and Valenciennes tramways

Brussels, 27/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - the European Investment Bank has granted a loan of EUR 35 million to the inter-municipal organisation for transport in the Mulhouse area (Sitram) for building an urban tramway network. The first tranche includes a total loan that could be to the tune of EUR 130 million. The EIB has also announced that it is prepared to provide aid of EUR 110 million to the funding of the tramway in the Valenciennes area, "Transvilles". The loan will go to the...
