ECB has not changed its interest rates despite resisting inflation - Trichet states Pact is going through a critical period

Frankfurt, 06/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Governing Council of the European Central Bank, presided for the first time by Jean-Claude Trichet, decided on Thursday to leave its interest rates unchanged (minimum bid rate applied to refinancing operations at 2%, deposit facility rates and marginal lending rate at 1% and 3% respectively).
