British group SSL INTERNATIONAL (Scholl and Durex brands) has sold its industrial protection glove activities in MARIGOLD INDUSTRIAL to the French company COMASEC, specialist in hand protection, for £ 22 million. This transaction will enable COMASEC to double the size of its consolidated annual sales, which will be in the range of EUR 100 as opposed to the pre-deal figures of EUR 45 million. It will also increase staff levels from 1122 to 1700.
