Parliament compels its legal committee to resume work on proposal of directive on consumer credit in its initial version

Brussels, 06/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - Invited to call on the European Commission to present a totally reworked version of its proposal of directive on approximation of national legislation on consumer credit, the European Parliament did not follow the recommendation made by Joachim Wüermeling (EPP/ED, Germany), rapporteur on this issue (see EUROPE of 4 November, p.12).
