Spain buys 24 "Tiger helicopters"

Brussels, 11/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, Spanish Defence Minister Federico Trillo, announced a contract for the purchase of 24 helicopters at the price of EUR 1.35 billion,. Spain chose the "Tiger", made by Eurocopter, a subsidiary of the EADS group (European Aeronautics, Defence & Space) instead of the US Boeing built S80 Apache.
