ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) consumer goods

Ango-Dutch group UNILEVER (cleaning and consumer goods) is to sell its toohpaste and toothbrush brands in the US and Canada to CHURCH & DWIGHT for between $104 and 116 million. The sale covers brands Mentadent, Pepsodent and Aim and licensing rights to Close-Up. This business had a turnover of EUR 61 million in the first part of this year.
