EU Institute of Security Studies conference on EU's policy with regard to its “new neighbours” and how this will impact on CFSP and CFDP

Brussels, 24/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The EU's Institute of Security Studies (ISS) organised a conference in Paris on 5/6 June on EU enlargement and its new neighbours, focussing on the new security challenges. The participants from all four corners of Europe expressed their views of the EU's policies with regard to its neighbours (Turkey, the Balkans, Eastern Europe and countries to the south of the EU) and how this impacts on the EU's common foreign and security policy.
