24/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - MEP, Nick Clegg (British Liberal Democrat) affirmed in a press statement that the draft constitutional treaty, approved by the European Convention was a great victory for democratising EU trade policy, as it gave MEPs the same level of control as the US Congress had on trade policy thanks to "fast track legislation".
