NORSK HYDRO (fertilisers, oil, aluminium, electricity) has created a new subsidiary for the trade of electricity called NORSK HYDRO ENERGIE AS, which will operate in Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Furthermore, the Norwegian group, the world's leading fertiliser firm, is preparing to sell its activities centralised within HYDRO AGRI (turnover EUR 4.1 billion in 2002 with 7300 employed).
