WTO Appellate body upholds validity of EU regulation in bed linen imports case

Brussels, 10/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - In an appeal verdict returned this week, the World Trade Organisation has "globally" upheld the validity of the regulation adopted by the Union last year to rectify anti-dumping measures on Indian bed linen imports, which had already been established as illegal. An appeal verdict was also returned regarding the follow-up to the arbitrage proceedings undertaken in 1998 (see EUROPE of 3/12 and 9/05/2002, 8/12/2000).
